Edge Trim components are used for noise deadening, gap filling and cushioning. They are used on safety devices including, seats and cabs of farm and garden tractors, and on boats and marine equipment.

Schlegel specializes in the manufacture of these flange mounted parts where the gripping plastic section is internally reinforced with our own wire carrier. This gripping section is formed into a U-shape and mounted on the flange where it protects and conceals unfinished edges. The gripping section can be combined with a sealing section made from semi-rigid PVC or polyethylene. When compressed, it eliminates air, water, dust and noise leaks around openings.

Characteristics
Edge Trim is mechanically attached using "gripping" edges for use in applications where adhesives are not advisable.
