Schlegel specialises in the manufacture of these flange mounted parts where the gripping plastic section is internally reinforced with our own wire carrier. This gripping section is formed into a U-shape and mounted on the flange where it protects and conceals unfinished edges. The gripping section can be combined with a sealing section made from semi-rigid PVC or polyethylene. When compressed, it eliminates air, water, dust and noise leaks around openings.
Schlegel's expertise in plastic forming allows for product variations to fit specific markets, for example, our embossed trim can closely match automotive interiors.
Edge Trim is mechanically attached using "gripping" edges for use in applications where adhesives are not advisable.
