The fabric is attached to the ski and provides a excellent grip for uphill skiing aswell as perfect gliding for downhill.
The ski fabric is made with a toplayer of mohair, a mix of mohair and synthetic fibers or even using a 100% synthetic fibres such as nylon and polyester.
The bottom layer is mostly a cotton fabric and provides the stiffness - rigidity of the fabric needed for the application.
To withstand the harsh conditions the product is used in the fabric is waterproof (minimal absorbtion of water) and edges are vulcanised. Depending on the usage a reusable adhesive can be applied.
The ski fabric withstands tempratures as low as - 70°C.
The dimensions are width: from 35 up 140mm
length: standard lengths are 1,45meters up to 2,05 meters but can be supplied in roll up to 30 metre.
