Standard and extended colour options for universal application seals
Q-LON gaskets for aluminium applications are available in a wide range of colours via the weather-resistant embossed polyethylene outer liner. They include brown, white, black, silver, beige, light oak and further colours available on request.

Why universal surface-fit profiles reduce installation time
Surface-fit Q-LON and Lozaron TPE profiles attach directly to the rebate face without machining the frame, making them compatible with retrofit projects and new installations alike. Aquamac profiles include insertion forces that are 15% lower than competing systems, reducing fitting labour on high-volume door and window production runs.
Controlling air, water, sound and heat through one seal
EN 12365:2003 specifies that gaskets and weatherstripping in windows, doors, shutters and curtain walling must control the movement of air, water, sound and energy. Schlegel universal application profiles meet these requirements across compression and sliding seal types, with Q-LON acoustic performance independently tested to UNI EN ISO 10140-2.
Proven across multiple markets
Q-LON composite gaskets are also proven across a wide range of sectors and applications, from airtight, fire-rated sealing for insulated wall panels and glazed partition systems, to window and door sealing in buses, trains, yachts and construction vehicles, as well as reducing conditioned air loss, dampening mechanical vibration and protecting outdoor HVAC units from water infiltration and UV degradation.

A universal application seal is designed to surface-fit directly onto timber, aluminium or uPVC frames without requiring a dedicated kerf or groove, making it suitable for retrofit and new-build projects across multiple frame materials.
Yes. Q-LON seals are designed to be over-painted or stained for colour matching without affecting sealing performance. The polyethylene outer film is impervious to paint and stain by design.
Products are manufactured to EN 12365:2003 for gaskets and weatherstripping in windows and doors. Q-LON Fire Retardant profiles are classified to EN 13501-1 Class E. The manufacturing quality system is certified to ISO 9001.
Q-LON seals carry a minimum 10-year lifespan rating and are l resistant to rot, mould, mildew and UV degradation throughout their service life.
