Quality manufactured extruded weatherseals for aluminium windows and doors provide a continuous, solid barrier and have been designed to compress completely. They also stop air leakage completely for thermal efficiency and trap dust and moisture. Schlegel extruded seals are also guaranteed for 10 years for peace of mind.
Extruded seals are available in a wide range of colours. Standard colours include RAL 9005 Black, RAL 9003 White and RAL 8019 Bronze. Additional options include Papyrus White, Silver Grey, Graphite Grey, Light Grey, Dust Grey, Chestnut brown and Chocolate.

The Lozaron range covers four material types for aluminium applications. Lozaron TPE with microcell foam (LF) suits window frames requiring flexibility. Lozaron silicone (LS) is specified for external entry doors where temperature resilience and resistance to deformation are critical. Lozaron LP and LV polypropylene and PVC profiles are available in kerf and surface-mount formats across many grades.
Schlegel extruded seals are TFI certified to BS EN 12365 to enable window, door, shutter and curtain walling manufacturers or installers to ensure that they are using the component that best meets their requirements.
