Better compression performance
Long-term compression set recovery to 90% of original shape
Find answers to the most frequently asked questions about Q-LON, including materials, durability, compatibility, installation, performance and choosing the right seal for your windows and doors.
Q-LON offers superior quality compared to other seals thanks to its unique composite design, outstanding technical performance—including excellent compression recovery, low moisture and air permeability, and effective sound reduction—as well as its exceptional longevity and durability.
Polyurethane (PU) foam core, Polyethylene (PE) film and Polypropylene (PP) insert
Guaranteed for 10 years . Lifecycle typically longer – example user cases of 25-30 years
Unlike some other seals, Q-LON works by absorbing moisture into its central foam core, preventing it from travelling beyond the gasket. When the gasket is compressed, the absorbed moisture is naturally released. For Q-LON to absorb moisture, doors and windows must be left open.
Yes, basically. Products in range designed for PVC-U, Aluminium and Timber windows and door systems . Bespoke engineered products can be custom designed to your needs.
